Halloween was fun this year. I was able to babysit and spend the night with my grandchildren. That included getting them ready to go "trick or treating". They were excited about getting dressed up in costume, and going out to get and candy. It was a process, as any mother will tell you, not to mention grandma! But I enjoyed it so much ! Just watching their little faces, and the excitement they had about getting ready.
Dallin was especially excited. He wanted his costume to be "perfect".

Devin was excited to be a Ninja, and he wanted face make up too!

Emma was so funny as a" Laundry Basket". She said she got so many complements about her costume.
The make up process was fun. The kids really got into it. We'd do a little, then look in the mirror, do a little more, look into the mirror again. It was funny.
Emma is getting to the age where she wants to hang out with her friends. So they had arranged to meet and then go out for the evening with one of the girls parents. I can't hardly believe Emma is entering this phase of her life. Time flys ! Then they are gone.

To be honest, I think the most fun they had for the evening was handing out candy to other kids at the door . They loved looking at what other kids were wearing. Colin especially had fun doing this. Every time the door bell rang, they would all run for the door. There was a time when we just left the door open because there were so many people out. People of all ages. It was pretty entertaining.
