My son-in-law works for Meeks and Meeks was having a Ladies Night where the ladies come and learn things like simple plumbing etc. He asked me to bring some of my friends. He said we'd have a chance to win prizes, have something to eat , get coupons for 20 % off certain things, plus just have fun. Well we did have fun! Some of my girly friends came along with Alicia and Jenni, and Emma. Unfortunately we did not win some of the really cool prizes(I never do win prizes, go figure) But we did get safety glasses, flashlights, hammers, screw drivers, water bottles, work gloves and a cool work apron. We were "styling" by the time we left. We laughed and had a really good time together.
They had a pretty good turn out for the event.
My Mother-in-law Betty even came, shes in the green shirt sitting next to me.
My silly girl friends, Jettie, Jenni, Rebecca and Ann in the front. Ann keeps us all laughing !
Then when we got home I wondered if I could get a job with Meeks, as the "Meeks Spokes Model", we had fun joking about it. Here I am with my gloves, apron, safety glasses and water bottle. It was a fun night of just having fun .
